Íslenski flautukórinn var stofnaður árið 2003 og hefur á að skipa fremstu flautuleikurum landsins. Efnisskrá flautukórsins samanstendur að mestu leyti af nútímatónlist og hefur hann frumflutt fjölmörg ný verk.

The Icelandic Flute Ensemble was founded in Reykjavik, Iceland in 2003 and consists of around fourteen professional players. The repertoire of the Icelandic Flute Ensemble is mainly based on contemporary music and the group has commissioned and premiered a great number of new pieces.
